Fables
Compagnie Virginie Brunelle
Through a rigorous choreographic vocabulary, Fables offers a harsh yet sometimes poetic vision of women's ongoing struggle.
Set against the backdrop of the chaos of a tormented era, the work projects us into spaces of fantasy from which emerge larger-than-life characters - contemporary female archetypes who have paved the way for freedom from invisible yet real barriers. A universe of great evocative power, echoing a crying need for utopia, hope and humanity.
