A powerful metaphor, Burn Baby, Burn addresses a burning topic of the day: climate change and the need for collective awareness. The work calls into question the urgency of acting for a sustainable future. Have we reached the tipping point? asks Guillaume Côté. What if this flame burning within us could be used wisely? Fire, with its passion and intensity—a double-edged sword, capable of consuming us as well as inspiring us to move—is the common thread of this exacerbated dance, sometimes joyful and carefree, sometimes with a relentless crescendo. With its revitalizing beauty and energy, Burn Baby, Burn invites us to embrace the present and pave the way for a dancing tomorrow.
