CAPAS productions

history

You are at the heart of the dance we bring to CAPAS. Each movement is an offered impulse, a celebration of the body that unfolds to come to meet you. Our dance is born from surpassing oneself, but it is towards you that it breathes, like an invitation to share an energy, a breath, a common vibration. It does not impose a truth: it affirms a voice, generous and accessible, where the sincere intensity of a movement becomes a call. We believe that the visible effort, the inhabited virtuosity, the raw joy of movement open bridges to you, the spectators, who become accomplices in what is being invented. In the momentum of the launched body, there is the promise of an encounter: one where the intimate becomes collective, where the stage becomes a shared space, and where the spark that springs between the artist and the audience illuminates the true purpose of our dance.

Stalled in their artistic impulses, four choreographers came together to find a way to overcome the lack of human contact: a remote duet with a pair of virtuoso performers. Four creative choreographers, four artistic and complicit minds, who come together to touch upon, question, and explore the notions of touch, intimacy, and human contact.
