On the Verge of Collapse
Compagnie Virginie Brunelle
A clear-eyed witness of our time and its challenges, Virginie Brunelle takes a piercing look at a planet in hypertension. Her compelling choreography is a vibrant battle for love and solidarity.

A baroque-tinged epic, On the verge of collapse rises as a bulwark against dehumanization.
The choreography, both imperious and vibrant, plunges us into the chaos of a world in tension, confronting alienation with the strength of union, love, and complicity. Between fulgurance and exaltation, the work elevates physical exertion into a living language — at once an act of resistance and a vital release.
Carried by five performers embodying a powerful collective force, every breath and every muscular tremor traces a profoundly human and sensitive fabric. Supported by Laurier Rajotte’s ingenious composition, the work resounds as a liberating cry, an invitation to live fully and to stand together in solidarity.
