V!TAL

Destins Croisés

V!TAL emerges as a manifesto, visceral and necessary. It conveys an urgent message: to make joy an act of resistance.

“Every day without dancing is a wasted day.” - Friedrich Nietzsche

Between urban and contemporary dance, the vibrant bodies of the performers embody this fertile tension between combat and celebration. The breath and jubilation of the bodies become a weapon of mass construction, reminding us that joy is not an escape, but a force for social transformation. Here, rhythm is opposed to chaos, pleasure to fear, gesture to collapse.

V!TAL draws its strength from a genealogy of ardent resistance fighters. From Josephine Baker, who transformed the stage into a political platform without losing her smile, to Ahmad Joudeh, whose dance defies the ruins of Palmyra. V!TAL transmits the legacy of a tradition where dance transcends entertainment to become an act of civil resistance. It erects an architecture of joy in tune with our times. A shared, vital joy, which becomes our ally in this quest for shared happiness.
